21st January 2010 - Tourdates.co.uk have been running a UK weekly chart since 2006 and we thought you might like to know that in the chart released on January 17 2010 our song, 'Girls Don't Look', reached #36! This means the song will now be played on the 'Music Unleashed Top 40' chart show which is aired every Sunday from 5-7pm on Tourdates.co.uk and is also available at many other community radio stations including TD1 Radio 8-10pm every Sunday."
5th November 2009 - Sharp Practise reveals new video. Today we can reveal our latest video, which is for Sound Of Rock, the opening track on our Banging The Rocks album. The video was made by Shirley Kent at Humble Film Factory, who won an NME Award in August 2009 for her animation work.We hope you like it .

23rd May 2008 - Nigel's performance on Channel M will not now be broadcast as previously advertised. Instead, Nigel is going to the studio on Tuesday 27 May to pre-record his appearance. It will be shown in the week beginning 2 June - watch this space for exact details of the transmission time.
16th May 2008 - On Tuesday 27th May Nigel will perform Come North from his solo album live on Channel M TV in Manchester, England.
16th May 2008 - Nigel will be appearing on the Andy Crane show on BBC Radio Manchester on Sunday 18th May, playing three songs from Book of Days.

19th Oct 2007 - We won the Best Website category at the UK New Music Awards. Nigel collected the award from former Terrorvision frontman Tony Wright at the AKA London on 17 October 2007. In his acceptance speech Nigel thanked Mike Barnett, the band's webmaster, for putting such a great site together. Recipients of other awards on the night included Koopa, the band who recently made UK chart history by breaking into the British Top 40 on downloads only.
