Ive played drums ever since my hands could grip a couple of spoons and tap out a rhythm on the dinner table! I think my mum and dad loved it when I went to university it certainly became much quieter round the house.

I probably have a smaller kit than most rock drummers but I like to fully use every part of it Id rather make good use of three toms than no use of a rack of eight.

As i can't play the drums at home I tend to be the one who pushes us out to play live. I've always thought that if you wait for things to happen you'll have a long wait.

So, if you haven't got a deal, get some gear and make your own records. Or promote your own gigs to get an audience.
